石倉かよこ氏は彼女のシグネイチャースタイルであるピンク中心の抽象画を制作。ただし今回は本来の彼女のスタイルから若干、具象画に寄せて、広野町の町の木であるサクラの大木を画面右手に配置した。画面中央から左にかけて続く青い線は広野町の海岸線をイメージしている。この海岸線は彼女が高倉山山頂の展望台から見下ろした海や、岩沢海水浴場で見学したサーファーたちをイメージしたものであるという。画面全体から受ける印象は、高倉山の山頂に聳える幻のヤマザクラの古木が見守る広野町の土地・海・空のようでもある。
彼女はこの大作の制作後、広野町住民とともに作る町内のサクラの地図のプロジェクトを開始しており、3月20日の成果展の会場でも熱心に自分の記憶のサクラを地図に書き込み人々の姿が見られた（下の写真）。石倉氏は今後10年をかけてこのリサーチプロジェクトを展開していくとのことである。（文責：加藤晃生）
Ms. Ishikura created an abstract painting centered on pink, her signature style. However, this time, she deviated slightly from her usual style, leaning more towards figurative art, and placed a large cherry tree, the town tree of Hirono, on the right side of the canvas. The blue line running from the center to the left of the canvas represents the coastline of Hirono. This coastline is said to be inspired by the sea she looked down upon from the observation deck on the summit of Mt. Takakura and the surfers she observed at Iwasawa Beach. The overall impression of the canvas is that of the land, sea, and sky of Hirono, watched over by the phantasm of ancient mountain cherry tree that stands atop Mt. Takakura.
After creating this large-scale work, she began a project to create a map of the town’s cherry blossoms together with the residents of Hirono. At the exhibition s on March 20th 2026, people were seen diligently marking the cherry blossoms from their memories on the map of town (see photo below). Ms. Ishikura plans to develop this research project over the next 10 years. (Text by Kosei Kato)
