履歴書の共通数式による数値化、明記された基準に照らし合わせた係数、完全匿名（応募者の名前、年齢、性別、経歴、国籍、外見等を一切審査員に知らせない）の秘密投票による審査の得点を総合した結果、以下の3人のアーティストを広野アーティスト・イン・レジデンスにご招待することが決定いたしました。

キム・ソンベク氏（メディアアート）
石倉かよこさんはピンクを多用したペインティングが特徴で、画業を始められたのは様々なお仕事を経験された後でしたが、以降は爆発的な行動力で実績を積み上げて履歴点で首位となりました。審査員の審査では特に中学生の評価が非常に高かったのですが、他の審査員諸氏からも満遍なく点数を集めて危なげなくトップ通過となりました。また先日発表された第29回TARO賞でも通過率3%台の激戦を勝ち抜き、第1回余白のアートフェア福島広野がきっかけで結成されたコレクティブ「ミか星」の一人として本選出場を決めておられます。現状ではペインティングの実績が多めですが、これからインスタレーションやリサーチベースドアートの作品も増えていくものと期待されます。
Roy Taroさんは芸術系の大学ではなく総合大学の法学部出身ですが、ペインティング、詩、ミューラル、インスタレーションなど様々なメディアを横断して活発な活動を展開しておられます。Roy Taroさんも第1回余白のアートフェア福島広野参加から広野町との縁が出来た方で、第2回余白のアートフェア福島広野への参加も決まっています。審査では履歴点2位から審査員点も手堅く点を集めて、安定した得点での2位通過でした。
キム・ソンベクさんはソウル芸術大学校のデジタルアート専攻から韓国科学技術院（KAIST)の修士課程を経て、現在は東京大学の学際情報学府に所属する博士課程の大学院生です。キムさんが制作のテーマとしているのは「流体を通して環境の変化を理解する」というもので、今回は広野町の風の動きをセンサーで記録し、メディアアートにするという提案が高く評価されました。

Based on the numerical evaluation of resumes using a common formula, coefficients applied according to clearly stated criteria, and scores from a completely anonymous secret ballot (where the judges were not informed of the applicant’s name, age, gender, background, nationality, appearance, etc.), we have decided to invite the following three artists to the Hirono Artist-in-Residence program.
Kayoko Ishikura (Painting, Installation)
Roy Taro (Painting, poetry, murals, installations)
Sungbeak Kim (Media Art)
Kayoko Ishikura is characterized by her paintings that make extensive use of pink. She began her artistic career after experiencing various jobs, but since then, she has accumulated achievements with explosive energy, ranking first in terms of her CV. In the judges’ evaluations, she received particularly high marks from the junior high school students, but she also received consistently high scores from the other judges, securing her top position without any difficulty. Furthermore, in the recently announced 29th TARO Award, she also won through a fierce competition with a pass rate of only 3%, and as a member of the collective “MiKaHoshi,” which was formed as a result of the 1st Marginal Art Fair Fukushima Hirono, she has secured her place in the final round. Currently, she has many achievements in painting, but it is expected that she will create more installation and research-based art works in the future.
Roy Taro graduated from a law department at a comprehensive university, not an art college, but he is actively engaged in various media, including painting, poetry, murals, and installations. Roy Taro’s connection with Hirono Town began with his participation in the first Marginal Art Fair Fukushima Hirono, and he is also scheduled to participate in the second Marginal Art Fair Fukushima Hirono.
Kim Sungbaek graduated from the Department of Digital Art at Seoul Institute of the Arts, completed a master’s program at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and is currently a doctoral student in the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo. Kim’s creative theme is “understanding environmental changes through fluid dynamics,” and his proposal to record wind movements in Hirono Town using sensors and transform them into media art was highly praised.
